Join us April 18, 2020!
For a virtual run on your own time wherever you can!
Love One Another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Romans 12:10
National Sibling Day is April 10! Although the timed run on the OKC River has been cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will continue to celebrate the memory of siblings we've lost and those still with us through a virtual run!
Celebrate Your Siblings 5K is an opportunity to share stories, say names, spend time with family and friends in a beautiful setting and do a little something good for someone else. Although we won't all be together physically due to COVID-19 restrictions, we hope to still join us virtually on April 18th and take this time to get outside, run or walk on your own in memory of your special loved one! A reminder about the virtual run will be posted on our L1H1 Facebook page (please be sure to 'like' it so you will get the reminder). You can participate with us virtually by sharing a picture and the name, even a story, of your loved one! No registration is required! All participants that post a picture of their run will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card!
Watch for more information about our new initiative and run beneficiary: Fostering New Memories! We will be sponsoring a trip to in July for a special foster family as well as a weekend get-away for a family that has recently experienced significant and untimely loss. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for each family to make new memories as they learn to navigate their new reality together. In lieu of a registration fee, please consider a donation to this initiative!
