secondary losses (cont)

Wrapping up the list of secondary losses will address the special and unique relationship that has ended. Not only do we lose what we know as "normal", we also can be aware of:
...
Loss of HOPE
Loss of ACCEPTANCE
Loss of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
Loss of STABILITY
Loss of PATTERNS
Loss of A SAFE PERSON
Loss of A BEST FRIEND
Loss of A FUTURE
Loss of A CHEERLEADER, this is a very significant and often overlooked aspect of grief. A cheerleader is the person who believed in you, encouraged you, and always wanted the best for you. If this person dies it leaves a very big empty place that is often filled with doubt and insecurity. Recall those words of support and let them continue to guide your life.
Remember, we lose the physical relationship. Emotionally and spiritually we never lose our loved ones. We can still treasure their impact and influence in our lives. We can still live a life that seeks to honor their memory.
Tomorrow's article will begin to deal with your specific loss as we continue this grief support.
Thank you for following and sharing these articles with your family and friends. 🙏⚘🙏⚘🙏⚘🙏⚘
