Always a part of us

Sharing a great post from Bob Willis - especially on this Father's Day, as many have lost their fathers and some have lost a child that made them a father.

"What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." -Helen Keller

Celebrate memories of loved ones. Their love will always be part of who you are, celebrate that part. Look for ways to honor them, create ways to use and share their name.

We will never lose them.
Helen Keller became deaf and blind at the age of 19 months. Her life story is one of determination, courage, and overcoming obstacles in life. She was the first deaf/blind person to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree. Helen became a successful speaker, author, and activist for the blind and deaf.

The quote from Helen Keller at the top of this post is an example of her understanding the things that cannot be seen. Everything we love deeply will always be part of us...we will never lose it.
If you have followed my posts for awhile, you have read my words and my belief that "we lose people physically, but we never lose them emotionally or spiritually".
Any death is devastating and life changing. Fear may enter as we question if we will ever forget our loved one. As Keller said, "All that we love deeply becomes part of us."
Celebrate memories of loved ones. Their love will always be part of who you are, celebrate that part. Look for ways to honor them, create ways to use and share their name.
We will never lose them.
