Life should be lived in pencil - it changes

Many of us are guilty of making plans and trying to "engrave" them into the future. Circumstances can change everything in a moment. Flexiblity is a personal trait that describes the extent to which a person can cope with changes. This is the type of person who does not panic when things do not go according to their plan.
When I am sculpting in clay, the best result is achieved when the clay is flexible and pliable. If it is soft and pliable it can be shaped into the desired image. If the clay hardens it must be soften with water and pressure.
Very similar to our lives. We must become pliable and willing to be fashioned into the image that is needed and desired. Hardships, trials and other life changes can mold our lives. Perhaps we are being shaped and formed into something we never imagined, something even more valuable than before.
It is normal for us to resist changes in life. But change happens to all of us, no one is exempt. We must look for ways to "re-dream", to endure the change and grow personally.
We are not just responsible for ourselves, we are also responsible for our influence on others to help them reach their greatest potential in life.
