Honoring the Relationship
Yesterday we had the opportunity to honor our loved one by posting our EARLY memory of them. Many took advantage of the opportunity to share memories. There are 2 more parts to this session.
What is something that FEELS GOOD when you recall the relationship? These are moments you look back on and think "I am so glad that happened!" Do you have one or two that come to mind? Would you like to share it here now?
Then there may be some things that HURT as you review the relationship. These are those times you wish had never happened. But they did. Often the things that hurt are at the end of the physical relationship if you saw them suffer. Would you also share the memory of something that hurt?
Relationships consist of these 3 elements:
* EARLY memories
* things that FEEL GOOD
* things that HURT
Reviewing relationships in this manner lead us to an honest and accurate memory. This is a valuable step in truly honoring a memory.
Tomorrow we enter into the "heart" of this process. The tool I begin to share tomorrow can be life changing...but only if you apply it to your grief.
Thank you for following and sharing these articles. God bless you 🙏⚘🙏⚘🙏⚘🙏⚘
