"A MOURNING MOMENT" BY BOB WILLIS

Memories are permanent

I do not like needles and shots...never have...never will. But, in the last few years I have realized it is part of life. So I have developed a coping strategy. I am convinced that "I can endure anything as long as it is temporary"! So far it is working.
But I realize there are some things in life that are not temporary. Many people struggle with physical issues that are not temporary, they will be lifelong issues to contend with. That takes a determinat...ion and acceptance that is to be admired and respected.
I also realize that grief is not temporary.
Many people struggle with physical issues that are not temporary, they will be lifelong issues to contend with. That takes a determinat...ion and acceptance that is to be admired and respected.
I also realize that grief is not temporary. The pain of loss can be a lifetime struggle. We lose physical relationships, but emotionally and spiritually we never lose our loved ones. So their memory will always be part of our life. Memories are permanent, not temporary.
It is difficult to experience those moments when we are aware of "the presence of their absence". But those moments will happen for the rest of our lives.
So, let's look for ways to honor the name, the life, and the memory of loved ones. Intentionally remember them, spend time with their memory.
You can always do that here. You are welcome to share names, memories, and photos in your responses. Their memory is permanent. 🙏🙏🙏⚘⚘⚘
