All about BOB!

I have been asked to provide some background for those following a "MOURNING MOMENT".
I am Bob Willis, married to Lynn since September 6, 1968. We have 2 children. Our son, Eric, lives in Carrollton, TX. He and his wife Jennifer have 5 sons and 2 daughters in law. Our daughter, Kristi, lives in Harrah, OK. She is the mother of 2 sons and 1 daughter.
My career has included 12 years as a home designer, 18 years as a Baptist minister in KY, TN, and OK. For 16 years I was Bereavement Coordinator for INTEGRIS HOSPICE in OKC, leading grief support groups for the community.
My passion for grief education grew from my hospice work. The "tools" that helped me personally are the things I share here, and as a speaker in grief conferences and workshops across the country.
In 1995 I began grief work, and I also began sculpting the same year. My work has included bronze sculptures, with subjects ranging from Veterans, cowboys, Native Americans, Religious, and especially grief related subjects.
For the past 3 seasons I have been the Sculptor at The Passion Play in Eureka Springs, AR. Each evening before the play I sculpt a bust of Christ in 30 minutes, while sharing the story of the Prodigal son.
Thank you for following a "MOURNING MOMENT". You are each very special in my life, and I appreciate your support and trust.
Let's make a difference in lives. May God bless you with His presence.

I think your book, Mourning Moments, is compassionate and insightful and covers all losses. You're blessed to have been married for so long. My husband and I married in 1970, married for 51 years, together for 56 until he died a year ago. I do believe that the loss of a spouse is very different from any other loss and until it happens to you, you cannot possibly understand.
